Science Week

Science Week 2017 ended with a day full of fun filled science experiments and investigations.
All the classes started their morning with a science assembly, led by James Boffin, a secret science agent! He demonstrated some wonderful experiments, including a flame thrower, making water disappear and a super chemical reaction. The afternoon was full of workshops on: putty and polymers, germs and spreading diseases and investigating suitable materials for making a boat. The children had a great day and are looking forward to the arrival of caterpillars after Easter.
"It was a great science day full of fun. My favourite part was when James Boffin used a leaf blower to force tissue into the air and it fell on the children!"
"It was a very exciting day, especially because I love science. I really enjoyed it when James Boffin made a foam explosion!"
