Chicks in Reception
This week, ten living eggs arrived in a special incubator for Reception to look after.
Each morning, the children have rushed into school, eager to see if any have hatched. After being extremely patient while watching and waiting, our first chicks began to break through. Today, there has been lots of excitement as the children welcomed their new friends. The chicks will stay with us next week before heading off to live on a farm with plenty of other chickens.
