We Have Fun

At Bowes, we believe that fun and learning should go hand in hand. Children learn better when they are excited and engaged. When there is joy in what they are doing, they learn to love learning.
If you ask our children what they enjoy most about Bowes they will often mention our school trips and a highlight will often be our residential school journeys.These are held annually and are open to everyone in Year 5 and 6.
Events throughout the school year give further opportunities for children to display their talents. Whole school productions with singing, dancing and acting give both children and parents memories that will last forever.
The Friends of Bowes is very active and regularly hold events for children and adults.
