Extended school

Bowes is an extended school with a Children’s Centre, which provides a range of holistic services and activities, often beyond the school day. This helps to meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community. Our extended services include childcare, adult education, parenting support programmes, community-based health and social care services, multi-agency behaviour support teams and after-school activities.

At Bowes we offer integrated early learning and care through Willow Day Care at Bowes which is open 48 weeks of the year from 8am to 6pm and is fee paying for children aged two to five years.
The Bowes Club operates throughout the school year and holidays which provides a breakfast, after-school and holiday club for children attending the school.
